Career & Technical CenterMission Statement |
Believing that all children can learn, that the administration and staff are responsible for the teaching/learning process and that there is a common core of knowledge and a set of skills which all children can master is the belief of vocational education as set forth is its mission as part of the total comprehensive district-wide mission. Vocational educators endeavor to train students to secure employment and to be gainful, lawful, and beneficial citizens to society. The learned skills provided will lead directly to paid and/or unpaid jobs or career development within our state and community in a effort to enhance the economic development therein. In the process of accomplishing these objectives, the intent of the vocational-technical education program is to complement general education by making educational offerings broader; therefore furthering students' life career motives and contributing toward the enrichment of the students' lives by instilling in them attributes such as values, high morals, good work habits, work ethics and healthy attitudes. |
